COMP Performance Group™ To Have Strong Presence

During the third weekend in July more than 5000 muscle cars and street machines will descend on the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in St. Paul for the Car Craft Summer Nationals. The COMP Performance Group™ will be at the center of the action throughout the three-day affair. On Sunday afternoon TCI® will host a Burnout Contest in which participants are encouraged to put on the biggest smoke show their rides are capable of. In addition, four Engine Builder Duels presented by COMP Cams® will be held throughout the weekend. These duels pit two-person teams against one another to see who can assemble and crank a Small Block Chevy in the shortest amount of time. Meanwhile, new for 2013 is a VIP area for CPG-equipped rides utilizing products from COMP Cams®, TCI®, FAST™, RHS®, Quarter Master®, Inglese™,  ZEX™ and Powerhouse Products®.  Approximately 25 vehicles will be present in the VIP area, located directly behind the COMP Performance Group™ event trailer. Vehicles will be selected leading up to the event through CPG’s various social media outlets. The COMP® social media team will be on the ground at the Car Craft Summer Nationals as well, and fans can expect updates on social channels including Facebook, CPGNation™ Live, Twitter and others. Techs will also be on hand at the CPG trailer to answer questions, provide technical advice and sell a wide variety of parts and merchandise.
